Southern-Sòng layman of Wúxīng 吳興 (Húzhōu 湖州 region), styled hào Juérú 覺如; author of KR6i0564 Yuánjué jīng jiāsòng jíjiě jiǎngyì 圓覺經夾頌集解講義 (X10 no. 253, 12 fascicles). His autograph preface to that work is dated 淳祐六秊丙午﨟月辛丑旦日丙戌 = the late-12th-month of Chúnyòu 6 (Sòng Lǐzōng’s reign) = early 1247 CE; on this evidence his active period brackets the 1230s–1260s. Otherwise undocumented in standard Buddhological reference works; lifedates and biographical detail unknown beyond what the Jiǎngyì preface itself supplies.
