Dàhè 大壑 (字 Yuánjīn 元津 / Xuánjīn 玄津), late-Míng Buddhist monk; born 1576, died 1627 (Tiānqǐ 7) at age 52. Native of Qiántáng 錢塘 (Hángzhōu), secular surname Xuē 薛.

He took ordination at Wànfēngyuàn 萬峰院 under the monk Zhūxūn 袾薰, then deepened his Huáyán study under Xuělàng Hóngēn 雪浪洪恩 (1545–1607) at the Báimén 白門 (= Nánjīng) Buddhist establishment. He served as senior abbot of the Jìngcísì 淨慈寺 in Hángzhōu — the great Sòng-period Yǒngmíng Yánshòu 永明延壽 monastery — and was associated with Hāngshān Déqīng 憨山德清 (1546–1623). At the Zōngjìngtáng 宗鏡堂 within Jìngcísì he served as resident-master, giving extended lectures on the Zōngjìnglù of Yánshòu.

His principal Kanripo work is the 《永明道蹟》 Yǒngmíng dàojì (KR6r0109, X1599, 1 juan, 1606), a votive site-specific compilation of the Yánshòu tradition at Jìngcísì. He is also documented in the 《徑山志》 Jìngshānzhì (under both 玄津 and 大壑) and the Jìngcísìzhì stele-inscriptions. Per DILA Buddhist Person Authority A000069 (with cross-references to Yínián lù 疑年錄 386).
