Rú Yīng 如瑛
Yuán-dynasty monk, junior-disciple (xiǎo shī 小師) of the Yuán Buddhist ritual master Déyīn 德因 of Lóngquányuàn 龍泉院 on Gāofēng 高峰. Identified in the compilation’s front matter as Liùzǔyuàn zhùchí 六祖院住持 (“Abbot of the Sixth Patriarch Cloister”), an affiliated or nearby establishment. Lifedates unrecorded.
Rú Yīng’s one recorded contribution to the canonical tradition is his editorial compilation of Déyīn’s collected ritual speech as the Gāofēng lóngquán yuàn Yīn shī jí xián yǔlù KR6q0165 in 15 juan, presented with a preface by Shěn Shìchāng 沈世昌 in Zhìyuán 24 (1287). No independent biographical material survives.
