Sūn Tíngquán 孫廷銓 (1613–1674), zì Bódù 伯度, also zì Méixiān 枚先, hào Zhǐtíng 沚亭; posthumous title Wéndìng 文定. Native of Yìdū 益都 in Shāndōng — specifically of the Yánshénzhèn 顏神鎮 / modern Bóshān 博山 region. Late-Míng / early-Qīng official and bǐjì author. Chóngzhēn gēngchén jìnshì (1640) under the Míng. Entered Qīng service by recommendation; under Shùnzhì served as Hénánfǔ tuīguān, then promoted Lìbù zhǔshì; under early Kāngxī rose to Lìbù shàngshū and finally Grand Secretary of the Nèi mìshūyuàn (Inner Secret Council). Retired in Kāngxī 5 (1666); during retirement at Yánshénzhèn composed the Yánshān zájì 顏山雜記 (KR2k0128) — a literarily distinguished and technologically important bǐjì on his home district, prized by Wáng Shìzhēn — and the Nánzhēng jìlüè 南征記略 (a memoir of his southern campaigns).
