Sūn Chuò 孫綽 (320–380 CE; Xīnggōng 興公) was an Eastern Jìn 東晉 literary official and lay Buddhist-Daoist thinker from Tàiyuán 太原 Zhōngdū 中都. He participated in the celebrated Lántíng 蘭亭 gathering of 353 CE with Wáng Xīzhī 王羲之, writing the companion preface 〈三月三日蘭亭詩序〉. His 〈Yóu Tiāntāi shān fù〉 遊天台山賦 is preserved in Wénxuǎn juǎn 11. His essays in the Hóng míng jí 弘明集 argue for the harmony of Buddhism and Confucianism. He held the post of Hùbù Shàngshū 戶部尚書. Biography in Jìnshū 晉書 juǎn 67.
