宋衷

Sòng Zhōng 宋衷

Zì Zhòngzǐ 仲子 (also written 宋忠). Late Eastern Hàn 東漢 / early Wèi 魏 classicist, native of Nányáng 南陽 (modern Hénán); a leading member of the 劉表 Liú Biǎo court’s scholarly circle in Jīngzhōu. Author of Zhōuyì zhù 周易註 and Tài xuán zhù 太玄註; both lost in transmission but preserved in fragments through 李鼎祚 Lǐ Dǐngzuò’s Zhōuyì jíjiě (KR1a0008). Known for xiàngshù 象數 readings of the Yì.
