Yùchí Wò 尉遲偓 (fl. mid-10th c.). Southern-Táng court historian. The only firm biographical data come from the head-title-band of his KR3l0018 Zhōngcháo gùshì 中朝故事, which gives his contemporaneous title: “Cháoyì láng 朝議郎, acting Gěishìzhōng 給事中 (Imperial Diarist), compiler of the State History (xiū guóshǐ 修國史), Xiāojì 驍騎 [captain], permitted the purple-and-gold purse — your servant Yùchí Wò, by imperial command, compiles and presents.” That is, he held substantive senior civilian rank at the Southern Táng court of Lǐ Biàn 李昪 or Lǐ Jǐng 李璟 (937–961), with concurrent posting at the imperial historiographic office. His native place is not known; the surname Yùchí is of Xiānbēi origin, the same clan as the Tang general Yùchí Jìngdé 尉遲敬德 (Wèichí Gōng) — and Yùchí Wò may have been a southern descendant, though the connection is not securely established. CBDB id 94670 records the name without lifedates. No other surviving work is attested under his name.
