Zūn Póxūmì 尊婆須蜜 (Skt. Vasumitra “Friend of the Vasus”; DILA Authority A001184) was a Sarvāstivāda Abhidharma master attributed with the Zūn Póxūmì púsà suǒjí lùn 尊婆須蜜菩薩所集論 (KR6l0014, T1549). The preface to that text describes him as a bodhisattva predicted to become the future Buddha “Lion Tathāgata” (師子如來), which distinguishes him from the better-known 世友 (Vasumitra), the master of the Abhidharma “feet” (六足論). Modern scholars (Willemen, Dessein, Cox 1998) treat this Upaśrī Vasumitra as a separate historical figure from the Kaśmīra-council Vasumitra, though both bore the same Sanskrit name. Nothing further is known of his biography.
