Cuī Xiàn 崔銑 (1478–1541), zì Zǐzhōng 子鍾 / Zhòngfú 仲鳬, hào Huányě 洹野, posthumously Wénmǐn 文敏 (some sources: Wénjìng 文敬), was a Mid-Míng Lǐxué official and biographer of Anyáng 安陽 (Hénán). Jìnshì of Hóngzhì yǐchǒu (1505); rose to Nánjīng Lǐbù yòu shìláng. His major works include the Dú Yì yú yán 讀易餘言 (KR1a0093, 5 juàn, completed Jiājìng gēngzǐ 嘉靖庚子 = 1540, an yìlǐ-leaning Yìjīng commentary that fuses Chéng Yí, Wáng Bì, and Wú Chéng 吳澄 against the Chén Tuán chart-tradition); the Shìyì 士翼 (KR3a0086, 3 juàn, his yǔlù-style notebook); the Míng chén shí jié 明臣十節 (a comparative biographical assessment of mid-Míng pure-Confucian officials, cited in KR3a0082’s tíyào); and the Huányě jí 洹野集 (collected works).
