Cháo Yuánruì 巢元瑞, zì Fèngchū 鳳初, an early-Republican physician of Jiāxīng / Jiāshàn (Zhèjiāng), active c. 1900–1925. He is known principally as the transcriber and editor of KR3ep051 ShěnYú yīàn héchāo (1921), a composite case-record manuscript of the mid-Qīng physicians Yú Zhèn 俞震 and Shěn Yòupéng 沈又彭. His 1921 preface (民國十年辛酉端陽節) records that he had been “in the medical profession twenty years” — placing his clinical activity from c. 1900. No further transmitted biographical record.
