康有為 Kāng Yǒuwéi

Kāng Yǒuwéi 康有為 (1858–1927, of Nánhǎi 南海, Guǎngdōng — hence the styling Nánhǎi), leading late-Qīng reformer and Confucian theorist; chief architect of the 1898 Hundred Days’ Reform. Mentioned in 熊希齡 Xióng Xīlíng’s 1927 colophon to 譚志光 Tán Zhìguāng’s Zhēnjiǔ wèndá 針灸問答 (KR3ee035) as part of the 1890s Húnán Nánxuéhuì 南學會 reformist circle.
