Zhāng Dūnyí 張敦頤 (fl. Shàoxīng; jìnshì 1138, CBDB 15495 with index year 1108), Yǎngzhèng 養正, native of Wùyuán 婺源 in Huīzhōu (modern Jiāngxī). Southern-Sòng official, philologist, and historian. Shàoxīng 8 jìnshì; friend of Zhū Sōng 朱松 (Zhū Xī’s father). Held office as Education-Officer of Nánjiànzhōu (1142–1148), Prefect of Shūzhōu, Prefect of Héngzhōu, and Zuǒ fèngyì láng chōng Jiāngnán dōnglù ānfǔsī gànbàn gōngshì (in 1160, when he composed the present work); retired on pension thereafter. Author of: the Hán Liǔ wén yīnbiàn 韓柳文音辨 — a phonological-philological commentary on the prose of Hán Yù and Liǔ Zōngyuán; the Liùcháo shìjì biānlèi 六朝事跡編類 (KR2k0112) on the historical topography of Nánjīng; and several chronological-history works. Note: CBDB has multiple entries for “張敦頤”; only id 15495 is the Southern-Sòng jìnshì of 1138 — the remaining entries (80929, 345057, 400924) are Qīng-period homonyms.
