Zhāng Chūnfān 張春帆 was a late-Qīng Cantonese author, active in the reform-era press of the early twentieth century, best known as the author of the satirical “condemnation novel” (qiǎnzé xiǎoshuō 譴責小說) Huànhǎi 宦海 (KR4k0146). His birth and death dates are not recorded in standard reference works, and CBDB contains no entry for him. The novel’s internal references to the constitutional reform movement and late-Qīng Guǎngdōng politics suggest he was writing c. 1905–1912.
