Zhāng Shítài 張時泰 (Míng, fl. late 15th c.). Author of the Guǎngyì 廣義 (broad explications) appended to Shāng Lù’s KR2o0022 Xù Zīzhì tōngjiàn gāngmù 續資治通鑑綱目. Like Zhōu Lǐ (the Fāmíng commentator), Zhāng was a Chénghuà-Hóngzhì-era WùZhē Gāngmù-school scholar working in the orbit of Shāng Lù; biographical details and lifedates are not preserved. CBDB has two undated homonym records (ids 59704, 227402); neither can be confidently identified with this commentator. The Sìkù tiyao groups the Guǎngyì with Zhōu Lǐ’s Fāmíng in its critical verdict on the Xù biān’s commentaries.
