Zhāng Ruì 張銳, Zǐgāng 子剛 (fl. late Northern Sòng – early Southern Sòng, c. 1100–1133), of Chéngdū 成都 (Sìchuān). Author of the Jīfēng pǔjì fāng 雞峰普濟方 (KR3ed014). His sobriquet Jīfēng “Cock-Peak” derives from his mountain retreat at Jīfēngshān 雞峰山, near Chéngdū. The biographical record outside his medical writing is sparse; he is not in CBDB. Internal references in the Jīfēng pǔjì fāng to the late-Northern-Sòng political-military situation and to Cài Jīng’s medical procurement programme anchor him to the Huīzōng / Qīnzōng / early Gāozōng eras (c. 1100–1133). His work survived to the late Qīng through a Yuán-era manuscript copy in the Lángyuánguānchá 閬原觀察 collection, which Gù Qiānlǐ 顧千里 reprinted in 1828.
