Xú Yìngqiū 徐應秋 (fl. 1616–1640), zì Jūnyì 君義; native of Xīān 西安 (Qúzhōu, Zhèjiāng). Jìnshì of Wànlì bǐngchén (1616). Held office through provincial administration to Fújiàn zuǒ bùzhèngshǐ (Provincial Administration Commissioner of Fújiàn). His studio name Yùzhī táng 玉芝堂 (Jade-Fungus Hall) gives the title to his principal work, the Yùzhī táng tán huì 玉芝堂談薈 (KR3j0186) — a 36-juàn late-Míng miscellany ranked by the Sìkù editors with Lǐ Fǎng’s Tàipíng guǎng jì and Táo Zōngyí’s Shuō fú. No firm lifedates are recorded in the standard biographical compilations.
