Xú Shàozhēn 徐紹楨 ( Gùqīng 固卿, 1861–1936), late-Qīng jǔrén of Pānyú 番禺 (Guǎngzhōu, Guǎngdōng) and prominent military-administrative reformer of the late-Qīng xīnzhèng 新政 era. Served as Jiāngběi 江北 tídū (Provincial Military Commander), Jiāngnán quánshěng liànbīng dìjiǔzhèn tǒngzhì (Commander of the New Army Ninth Division and director of military training for the entire Jiāngnán province), and SūSōngzhèn 蘇松鎮 zǒngbīng in the final years of the Qīng dynasty. Led the Nánjīng-region Republican forces during the 1911 Xīnhài revolution; subsequently served in various senior Republican-era posts including Guǎngdōng provincial governor (1925). Author of the 1909 preface to KR3eq019 Yī yī yī 醫醫醫 — a key witness to the late-Qīng reform circle’s engagement with medical-institutional questions in the months immediately preceding the dynasty’s collapse.
