Fù-ān 復菴 (active late 11th – early 12th c.), Northern Sòng Buddhist scholar-monk; author of the [[KR6e0118|Huáyán jīng lún guàn 華嚴經綸貫]] (X220), a lún guàn (“through-thread”) synopsis of the Avataṃsaka. Birth and death dates not preserved. Fù-ān is referenced in the preface to [[KR6e0016|Chéngguān’s Qī chù jiǔ huì sòng shì zhāng]] (T1738) as the author of an alternative Lún guàn on the Lotus Sūtra — the Chán-master version that the preface-writer of T1738 found “sharp and direct” but “not convenient for those who study the doctrinal teaching.” Conventional scholarship places him in the late-Northern-Sòng Chán milieu.
