Dézhēn 德珍
Late Southern-Sòng / Yuán Yángqí-branch Línjì Chán master, hào Yùshān 玉山; imperial title Fóguāng Hǎiyìn 佛光海印. Dharma-heir of 普度 Xūzhōu Pǔdù (1199–1280), under whom he appears among the editors of his master’s yǔlù (KR6q0340); succeeded as abbot of Hángzhōulù Jǐngdé Língyǐn chánsì 杭州路景德靈隱禪寺. His own principal dharma-heir was 守忠 Tánfāng Shǒuzhōng (1275–1348, KR6q0343), who attained awakening under him on the “cypress tree in the courtyard” 庭前柏樹子 huàtóu. Listed in Zēngjí Xùchuándēnglù juan 1 as “Língyǐn Yùshān Dézhēn” among Pǔdù’s dharma-heirs; further noticed in Wǔlín Língyǐn sì zhì 武林靈隱寺志 juan 3. Lifedates unrecorded.
