Yíshān 怡山
Táng-era Chán master, traditionally identified as the author of the celebrated devotional vow-text Yíshān lǐ fó fā yuàn wén 怡山禮佛發願文 (“Vow-Text for Buddha-Worship”), which entered Chinese Buddhist ritual-liturgical usage and was widely employed across Chán, Vinaya, and Pure-Land contexts.
