Huìjǐng 慧景, an Eastern-Jìn monk, was one of the original companions of 法顯 Faxian on his pilgrimage to India, setting out from Cháng’ān in Lóng’ān 隆安 3 (399 CE). According to Faxian’s own Fóguó jì 佛國記 (KR2k0136), he died during the crossing of the Pamirs, one of several pilgrim casualties on the route. No independent biography survives.
