慧矩

Huìjǔ 慧矩 (fl. Kāihuáng 開皇 17 [597 CE] – Dà-yè 大業 12 [616 CE]), Suí-dynasty scholar-monk who studied Sanskrit and worked at the Shànglín-yuán fānjīng-guǎn 上林園翻經館 in the eastern capital Luòyáng 洛陽. He wrote the preface (and supervised the bureau) for the 615/616 retranslation of the Yàoshī rúlái běnyuàn jīng 藥師如來本願經 (KR6i0047, T449) under 達摩笈多 Dámó Jíduō (Dharmagupta), with 法行, 明則, 長順 and 海馭 as collaborators.
