Jièxiāng 戒香
A late-Qīng Pure Land monk active in the Tóngzhì 同治 era (1862–1874), known by the sobriquet Liángēn dàshī 蓮根大師 (“Master Lotus-Root”). Author of the 《淨土極信錄》 Jìngtǔ jí xìn lù KR6p0113 (X1194), a single-juǎn exhortative treatise that takes the Ēmítuó jīng 阿彌陀經 line by line and draws from each passage exhortations to the xìnyuànxíng 信願行 (faith-vow-practice) triad. The work was prefaced in 1872 by Jìngtài 境泰 (hào Ruòyú shānrén 若愚山人) at the Lóngyán 龍巖 monastery. Lifedates and native place not preserved.
