Wénxǐ 文喜 (Wúzhù Wénxǐ 無著文喜)
Late-Táng Chán master (820–899). Often referenced as Wúzhù 無著 (“Non-Attachment”). Associated with the early sòng gǔ 頌古 (verse-commentary on classical cases) tradition; cited by later Chán literati and nuns as a canonical model for poetic responses to gōng’àn cases. Pilgrim to Mount Wǔtái 五臺山 and recipient of a celebrated vision of Mañjuśrī.
