Míng Huī 明徽 (fl. early 6th c.) was a southern Liáng-dynasty (南梁) Vinaya specialist of the Mahīśāsaka tradition. He is known almost exclusively for compiling the Wǔfēn bǐqiūnī jièběn 五分比丘尼戒本 (KR6k0004), the bhikṣuṇī prātimokṣa extracted from Buddhajīva’s Wǔfēn lǜ (KR6k0001) for use as the recitation text at the bi-monthly uposatha of nuns. The biographical record in Dàoxuān’s Xù gāosēng zhuàn (T50n2060) is brief; he is sometimes connected with the Mahīśāsaka revival at Jiànkāng under the patronage of the Liáng court.
