Míngdòng 明洞

Late-17th century LínjìYángqí Chán monk; senior dharma-heir of Jífēi Rúyī 即非如一 (1616–1671). Lifedates unrecorded. Lead compiler (děng biān 等編 “et al. edited”) of his master’s Jífēi chánshī quán lù 即非禪師全錄 KR6q0231 — Jífēi’s 25-juan comprehensive yǔlù documenting his bi-national Chinese-Japanese teaching-career as a co-founder of the Ōbakushū.
