Zhāo (Zhāo Shàngrén 昭上人)

An early-Northern-Sòng shānwài 山外 Tiāntái lecture-master active at Zhèjiāngyáng 浙陽 in Jǐngdé 景德 4 (1007). Recipient of Sìmíng Zhīlǐ’s 四明知禮 (知禮) two-hundred guānxīn questions, the principal documentary record of which is preserved in the Fǎzhì yíbiān guānxīn èrbǎi wèn (KR6d0184). Likely an alternate name or honorific designation for one of the principal shānwài spokespersons of the period.
