Pǔyuàn 普願
Nánquán Pǔyuàn 南泉普願 (748–835), mid-Táng Chán master of the Hóngzhōu line, dharma-heir of Mǎzǔ Dàoyī 馬祖道一; one of the masters under whom Dòngshān Liángjiè studied during his pilgrimage years, as recorded in the Dòngshān yǔlù (KR6q0067).
