Jǐnghuán 景瓛
Late-Yuán / early-Míng Yángqí-branch Línjì Chán master, hào Yíngzhōng 瑩中. Principal dharma-heir of 梵琦 Chǔshí Fànqí (1296–1370); co-editor of his master’s twenty-juan yǔlù (KR6q0353), and the person who commissioned Sòng Lián 宋濂 to supply its preface. Abbot of Sūzhōu Wànshòu 蘇州萬壽. Per Zēngjí Xùchuándēnglù juan 5, he became Fànqí’s student after having received the full precepts — a somewhat unusual trajectory — choosing Fànqí (at Xīzhāi / Tiānníng) over his earlier training.
