Zhū Chángluò 朱常洛
Fourteenth Míng emperor (Míng Guāngzōng 明光宗, reign-title Tàichāng 泰昌), eldest son of the Wànlì emperor. Acceded 28 August 1620; died one month later on 26 September 1620, in the so-called Hóngwán àn 紅丸案 (“Red-Pill Case”) — one of the so-called Three Great Mysteries (sān dà àn 三大案) of the late Wànlì / early Tiānqǐ court.
