Northern-Sòng Yìxué transmitter, zì Tǐngzhī 挺之. A pupil of Mù Xiū 穆修 and the immediate teacher of Shào Yōng 邵雍. He served as a county-level official under Rénzōng and is principally remembered for transmitting the Xiāntiān tú 先天圖 (“Prior Heaven Chart”) and the guà biàn 卦變 (“hexagram-transformation”) teachings of the Chén Tuán 陳摶 line to Shào Yōng. Lǐ’s role is canonized in Zhū Zhèn 朱震’s Hànshàng Yìzhuàn biǎo, which gives the lineage: Chén Tuán → Mù Xiū → Lǐ Zhīcái → Shào Yōng.
