Lǐ Guāngpō 李光坡 (1651–1723). Zì Sìqīng 耜卿, hào Màofū 茂夫. Native of Ānxī 安溪 in Quánzhōu prefecture (modern Ānxī, Fújiàn). Younger brother of the major early-Qīng court scholar-official Lǐ Guāngdì 李光地 (1642–1718, Grand Secretary). Per Háng Shìjùn’s 杭世駿 Róngchéng shīhuà 榕城詩話, Lǐ Guāngpō remained at home and never took office, devoting himself to classical scholarship and producing a complete Sānlǐ shùzhù 三禮述註: KR1d0019 Zhōulǐ shùzhù 周禮述註 in 24 juan, KR1d0040 Yílǐ shùzhù 儀禮述註 in 17 juan, and KR1d0071 Lǐjì shùzhù 禮記述註 in 28 juan. The Sānlǐ shùzhù set is one of the few comprehensive Qīng-period commentaries on all three Ritual Classics by a single author, and the family scholarly tradition continued in his nephew Lǐ Zhōnglún 李鍾倫 (cf. KR1d0020) and his elder brother’s Zhōuguān bǐjì 周官筆記 in the Róngcūn jí.
The Sìkù tíyào of KR1d0019 characterises Lǐ’s method as a middle path between HànTáng evidential scholarship (which Lǐ regards as too vast and complex for pedagogical use) and Sòng Dàoxué speculation (which Lǐ regards as too discursive and disconnected from the classical text). Lǐ trims the zhùshū and supplements with selected later material, with the explicit goal of pedagogical accessibility. CBDB id 77440.
