Lǐ Zǐyì 李子毅 (míng Qìngshēn 慶申, fl. late Qīng – Republican, 民國), Republican-era physician of Chǔběi Zhǎnshuǐ 楚北斬水 (northern Húběi). Inherited a three-generation family scrofula-and-phlegm-node specialty: his great-grandfather Yuǎnfēnggōng 遠峰公 learned the technique from an itinerant Húnán physician; it passed through his grandfather to his father Yúquángōng 魚泉公 (d. 光緒丙戌 = 1886), and then to Lǐ Zǐyì himself. Author of KR3ek033 Tánlì fǎmén 痰癧法門 (1 juǎn, self-prefaced Mínguó 7 / 11 April 1918), a Republican-era specialist treatise on phlegm-node disorders, scrofula, and related neck and axillary masses. His preface offers the family method publicly as a fāngbiàn fǎmén 方便法門 (“expedient gateway”, a Buddhist-coloured term). Internal evidence (orphaned of father in 1886; writing in 1918) places his birth in the early 1870s. Not in CBDB.
