Southern-Sòng -poet and orthographer, Jiānwú 肩吾, of Péngshān 彭山 (modern Sichuan). fl. Jiādìng era (early thirteenth century). His sole surviving philological work, the Zìtōng KR1j0035 in 2 juàn, was prefaced by Wèi Liǎowēng 魏了翁 in Jiādìng 13 (1220) — establishing his terminus ante quem; Yú Shēn 虞兟’s postface of Bǎoyòu jiǎyín (1254) describes the work’s transmission. The Zìtōng is a Southern-Sòng paleographic dictionary that uses Shuōwén analysis of clerical-script (lìshū) elements to clarify Sòng-period vulgar-form corruptions. Lǐ Cóngzhōu also figures as a -poet of the Jiādìng generation (a small body of his lyrics survives). No CBDB entry under this exact identification can be confirmed (CBDB has multiple “Lǐ Cóngzhōu” entries, none clearly the Zìtōng author).
