Lǐ Xīn 李新 (fl. YuányòuXuānhé, c. 1090–1124), Yuányīng 元應, hào Kuàáo jūshì 跨鼇居士, of Xiānjǐng 仙井 (Sìchuān). Per Cháo Gōngwǔ’s Dúshūzhì: early jìnshì of Yuányòu gēngwǔ (1090; in fact gēngwǔ was 1090 = Yuányòu 5). Liú Jīng 劉涇 once recommended him to Sū Shì 蘇軾 蘇軾 — Sū commanded him to compose a mòzhú (ink-bamboo) verse, which he did instantly. End-of-Yuánfú (1100): submitted memorial; demoted, sent to Suìzhōu 遂州 (per Cháo); Chóngníng 2 (1103): per the Féng yǐnshì bēiyīn the Kuàáo jūshì was registered-and-confined at Wǔxìn. Xuānhé 5 (1123): held office as Èrjùn (deputy-prefect) of Màozhōu 茂州. Personally an ambitious-pliant figure: praised Wáng Ānshí, praised Cài Jīng, criticised his own earlier outspoken memorials (the Sìkù tíyào is severe). Author of Kuàáo jí 跨鼇集 KR4d0132 originally in 50 juǎn; Sìkù reconstruction from Yǒnglè dàdiǎn is 30 juǎn. A late-period Sìchuān literary figure.
