Lǐ Ruòshuǐ 李若水 (1092–1126), Qīngqīng 清卿, of Qūzhōu 洺州 Qūzhōu 曲周 (Héběi). Jìnshì of Xuānhé 5 / 1123. Held office as Tàixué bóshì, then Lǐbù shàngshū under Qīnzōng. Famous Jìngkāng loyalist martyr: when Kāifēng fell to the Jurchen in 1126 and Huīzōng and Qīnzōng were taken north, Lǐ accompanied Qīnzōng into Jin custody, refused to acknowledge Jin sovereignty, and was killed for cursing the Jin invaders to their faces. Posthumously canonised Zhōngmǐn 忠愍 (Loyal-and-Lamented) under Gāozōng. Author of Zhōngmǐn jí 忠愍集 KR4d0133 in 3 juǎn. Biography: Sòng shǐ j. 446 (Zhōngyì 1). Lifedates 1092–1126 confirmed by CBDB.
