Early-to-mid Ming physician of Qízhōu 蘄州 (Húběi); zì Yuèchí 月池, hào Yuèchí Wēng 月池翁. Father of Lǐ Shízhēn 李時珍. Held the office of lǐmù 吏目 in the Tàiyī Yuàn 太醫院 (Imperial Medical Academy) under the Jiājìng emperor. Active in the first two-thirds of the 16th century. Author of an eight-juan Sì zhěn fā míng 四診發明 (mentioned in Lǐ Shízhēn’s KR3eb014 preface but not preserved) and of KR3eb033 Mài xué lèi biān / Sì yán jǔ yào lèi biān — a classified rearrangement of Cuī Jiāyàn’s Southern Sòng pulse mnemonic.
