Lǐ Yǔtáng 李雨堂 is the name under which the popular novel Wànhuā Lóu 萬花樓 (KR4k0240) was published in the Qīng period. Modern scholarship regards “李雨堂” as a pseudonym (筆名 bǐmíng) or publisher’s attribution rather than the name of a historical individual. No biographical record has been identified, and no CBDB entry exists for a person of this name that can be connected to the novel. The actual authorship of Wànhuā Lóu is unknown.

The novel Wànhuā Lóu Yǎnyì 萬花樓演義 (also titled Dí Qīng Yǎnyì 狄青演義) in its printed form attributes composition to “Li Yutang” without further identification. This is consistent with the anonymous or pseudonymous tradition of mid-Qīng popular chivalric fiction (gōng’àn xiá yì 公案俠義 xiaoshuo), in which publisher-supplied or arbitrary pseudonyms are common. The novel centers on the Song-dynasty general Dí Qīng 狄青 and the judge Bāo Zhěng 包拯.
