Lín Màojǔ 林懋舉, Míng-period official of Fújiàn (Mǐn 閩). Jìnshì of an unidentified cohort. Served as Gōngkē jǐshìzhōng 工科給事中 (Supervising Secretary of the Office of Scrutiny for Works) and zhī Sūzhōu fǔ shì 知蘇州府事 (Prefect of Sūzhōu), bearing the zhōngxiàn dàfū 中憲大夫 honorific (a 4th-grade civil rank). In 1556 (Jiājìng 35), as Sūzhōu prefect, he prefaced and funded the printing of Xuē Kǎi / Xuē Jǐ’s paediatric compendium Bǎoyīng cuōyào 保嬰撮要 (KR3ej015). His preface is one of the principal contemporary documentary witnesses to Xuē Jǐ’s working practice as a scholar-physician.
