Lín Yòngzhòng 林用中 (fl. 1167)
Zì Zhézhī 擇之, hào Dōngpíng 東屏. Native of Gǔtián 古田 (Fújiàn). A high-ranking disciple of Zhū Xī 朱熹, known for his role as travelling companion to Zhū Xī and Zhāng Shì 張栻 on the famous Nányuè (Southern Sacred Mountain, Hénán Héngshān) literary tour of Qiándào 3 (1167). The exchange of poems on that tour became the Nányuè chàngchóu jí 南嶽倡酬集 KR4h0037 in one juǎn, the principal documentary witness to Lín’s literary practice. His own collection is otherwise wholly lost; only the verse preserved in the Nányuè anthology and 32 letters from Zhū Xī to him (preserved in Zhū Xī’s Huìān jí) survive. No firm lifedates; no CBDB entry.
