Late-Northern-Sòng 北宋 local official, known as the colophon-writer and publication-overseer of the composite Dàodé jīng edition [[KR5c0093|DZ 706 Dàodé zhēn jīng jí zhù]] (1098) — which preserves the commentaries of Héshàng gōng, Wáng Bì, Táng Xuánzōng, and Wáng Pōu together.
Office. Liáng Jiǒng signs the 1098 colophon to DZ 706 as Yǐng zhōu jūn pàn 潁州軍判 — Military Judge of Yǐng zhōu 潁州 (modern Fù yáng 阜陽, Ān huī). Jūn pàn 軍判 (or jūn pàn guān 軍判官) was a regional judicial-military office under the prefectural administration, with responsibility for garrison legal affairs.
Role in DZ 706. According to his colophon, Liáng Jiǒng explains that an official of the Zhāng 章 family (personal name not specified) had commissioned the composite commentary for printing, after engaging a “worthy scholar” (xián xué zhě 賢學者) to edit the four component commentaries. Liáng’s own contribution was the publication framework and the colophon; he did not author any of the included commentaries.
Dating. Active 1098 (the colophon date). No lifedates or further biographical details are recorded. No CBDB record identified for this specific Liáng Jiǒng (multiple persons of similar names appear in Sòng sources; the Yǐng zhōu jūn pàn specification does not uniquely match any).
Disambiguation. Not to be confused with other Liáng Jiǒng figures in Sòng biographical sources — the name is unusual but not unique. The Yǐng zhōu position and the 1098 date together provide the most reliable identification.
