Méi Táo 梅陶 (fl. early to mid 4th century), Shūzhēn 叔真, was a minor Eastern Jìn 東晉 official from Rǔnán 汝南. He served at the Jìn court in middle-ranking metropolitan posts; the precise titles are not securely recorded. He is most often encountered in modern reading through the Shìshuō xīnyǔ 世說新語 anecdote in which Wáng Dūn 王敦 addresses him in a letter laden with double-edged praise. Méi Táo also appears in the Jìn shū 晉書 in passing notices, and a short literary collection (Méi Táo jí 梅陶集) is recorded in the Suí shū jīngjí zhì 隋書經籍志 but is now lost.

In the Kanripo corpus he is the attributed author of KR3a0127 Méizǐ xīnlùn 梅子新論. CBDB has no entry; precise birth and death years are not preserved.
