Tachibana Atsushi 橘有篤 (also signed Tachibana Atsushi-shi-yuki 橘薰院有篤子行, with Zǐxíng 子行; sinicized Júyǒudǔ), fl. late 18th century, late Edo Japan. Member of the Tachibana 橘 hereditary medical / literary family of Tanba 丹波 province, owners of the studio Tachibana Kun-in 橘薰院 (“Tachibana’s Fragrant Cloister”). Author of the Mingjiā fāngxuǎn 名家方選 preface dated Anei 9 gēngzǐ mid-autumn first day = 1780, where he presents the work of his colleague 山田元倫 (Yamada Genrin) and develops the argument that the (和) and Tan-ba (丹波) hereditary medical traditions had been all but destroyed in the Ōnin War (1467–1477) and that the present work is a small contribution to their recovery. Other works of his are not transmitted in the Kanripo corpus.
