Tán Dàoluán 檀道鸞 (fl. Liu Song dynasty, 5th century CE) was a historian, author of the Xù Jìn yángqiū 續晉陽秋 (KR2k0201), a continuation of the Eastern Jin annalistic history in the tradition of Sūn Shèng’s 孫盛 Jìn yángqiū 晉陽秋. His work, now fragmentary, is a major source for Eastern Jin social history and biography, cited extensively in the commentaries to Liú Yìqìng’s 劉義慶 Shìshuō xīnyǔ 世說新語. The CBDB records him without dates (CBDB 410514). No further biographical details are attested in the standard histories.
