Guī Zhuāng 歸莊 (1613–1673), Xuángōng 玄恭, hào Héngxuān 恆軒 (also Pǔmíng tóutuó 普明頭陀 in late-life Buddhist retreat), of Kūnshān 昆山 (Sūzhōu, Jiāngsū). Grand-nephew of Guī Yǒuguāng 歸有光. A late-Míng / early-Qīng yímín (loyalist) figure: with Gù Yánwǔ 顧炎武 he organized resistance to the Manchu conquest at Kūnshān; after the cities fell he lived in yímín retreat in Sūzhōu, supporting himself by selling calligraphy and painting. He is the principal compiler of the modern recension of Guī Yǒuguāng’s Zhènchuān jí KR4e0215: he drafted the fánlì (editorial principles) and gathered surviving manuscript fragments (with help from Qián Qiānyì) after both family cuttings were lost in the conquest. The Kāngxī 1675 consolidated edition was completed by his nephew Guī Xuángōng. CBDB 65939.
