Duàn Gōnglù 段公路 (fl. mid-to-late ninth century, Xiántōng era 860–874), of Línzī 臨淄 in Qízhōu (modern Shāndōng). Grandson of the Yuánhé / Chángqìng chief minister Duàn Wénchāng 段文昌 (773–835); held office as Magistrate-Aide (xiànwèi) of Wànnián 萬年 county in Jīngzhào. Travelled in Lǐngnán in or before Xiántōng 10 (869) and compiled the Běihù lù 北戶錄 (KR2k0106), a monograph on the natural products and customs of the South-of-the-Five-Ridges region. The Sìkù tíyào notes that the form “Gōnglù” with lù 璐 in the Xuéhǎi lèibiān is an error of zì. His career and dates are otherwise undocumented; the original preface to the Běihù lù by Lù Xīshēng 陸希聲 (Yòu shíyí nèi gōngfèng) places its composition in the late Yìzōng or early Xīzōng era.
