Ikeda Yin 池田奫 (Edo-period Japan, late 18th – early 19th c.), son of 池田瑞仙 Ikeda Zuisen of the Bakufu Medical Academy 幕府醫學館 smallpox-instruction line. In Bunka 4 (1807) he produced the Chóngjiào dòukē biànyào 重校痘科辨要 — a critical re-collation of his father’s Dòukē biànyào (KR3eg046) that restored the authentic text from the family draft and distinguished later student additions from the master’s original.
