Shěn Míngsūn 沈名蓀, zì Jiànfāng 澗芳, was an early-Qīng scholar from Qiántáng 錢塘 (modern Hángzhōu). With Zhū Kūntián 朱昆田, son of Zhū Yízūn 朱彝尊, he co-compiled the NánBěi shǐ shíxiǎo lù 南北史識小錄 KR2h0003 (preface dated 1690), a phrase- and anecdote-extract from the Nánshǐ 南史 and Běishǐ 北史 modeled on Yáng Kǎn’s Liǎng Hàn bówén 兩漢博聞 KR2h0001. He is otherwise sparsely attested in the standard biographical compendia and is not yet entered in CBDB; the surviving Sìkù preface and his name in the Zhèjiāng zhì xiānzhèng lists are the principal traces of his life.
