Shěn Wénbīn 沈文彬 (fl. late 19th – early 20th c.), biéhào Xìngyuàn 杏苑. Late-Qīng / early-Republican physician active in Shànghǎi (writing-studio name 鑄青草廬). Disciple of a certain “徐夫子” (master Xú — internal evidence places him as a late-Qīng Sūzhōu-tradition master in the line of Xú Dàchūn 徐大椿, not Dàchūn himself who died in 1771). Compiler of the Yàolùn 藥論 (KR3ec062) printed 光緒二十七年 (1901) — actually a critical merger of two earlier manuscripts: Gāo Gǔfēng 高鼓峰 (Gāo Dǒukuí 高斗魁, 1623–1670, late-Míng / early-Qīng physician of Yīnxiàn 鄞縣)‘s informal pharmacological notes Yàolùn, and Wú Dànyuán 吳澹園’s Yàonéng 藥能.
