Fǎshèng 法盛 (lifedates unknown; fl. early fifth century), Northern-Liáng 北涼 Buddhist śramaṇa of Gāochāng 高昌 origin (in modern Xīnjiāng); the canonical signature reads 「北涼高昌國沙門法盛譯」. According to the Chū sānzàng jì jí 出三藏記集 (T2145, juan 2 and 13), Fǎshèng was a Gāochāng monk who travelled to India in his mid years and returned via the Tarim-basin route to Gānsù, where he completed his single surviving translation [[KR6b0024|Púsà tóu-shēn yì-èhǔ qǐ-tǎ yīnyuán jīng 菩薩投身飴餓虎起塔因緣經 (T172)]] under Northern-Liáng patronage at Gūzāng 姑臧 c. early fifth century.
